Using your Private Medical Insurance

At MovementHolic, we work with most major Private Medical Insurance providers, making it easier for you to access physiotherapy treatment through your healthcare policy.

If you would like to use your insurance but are unsure how the process works, here are the steps:

1. Contact your GP if required by your policy. Explain your symptoms or injury and ask whether you need a referral for physiotherapy through your private medical insurance.

2. Contact your insurance provider. They will confirm your level of cover, the number or value of sessions available, and provide you with an authorisation or claim number where required.

3. Once authorised, contact us to book your initial consultation. Please have your membership details and authorisation or claim number available when booking.

The exact process can vary depending on your insurer and individual policy, and some policies do not require a GP referral. If you are unsure, your insurance provider will be able to confirm the requirements of your plan.

We currently work with many of the leading insurers, including Bupa UK, Bupa International, AXA Health, AXA Global Healthcare, Cigna, WPA, Aviva, Vitality, Medicash, UnitedHealthcare and Healix, among others.

If you are insured with AXA, Bupa or WPA, please select the relevant booking option for your provider.

If you are covered by any other insurance company, simply select the Other Insurance Providers option and book a standard consultation. During the booking process, you’ll be able to provide your insurance details so we can process your treatment and claim correctly.
